The Adirondack General Store has been the landmark of the Adirondacks for over a century. Established in 1855 as a general mercantile for the local community. We are tucked away in the back corner of Schroon Lake on East Shore Drive. You can find a unique collection of local crafts, syrups and foods as well as table service for breakfast and lunch. We have a full deli and our shelves are stocked so you will be sure to find whatever you might need.
A unique collection of local crafts, syrups and foods, a little bit of everything!

“New ownership has breathed new life to this all-in-one store/restaurant/gift shop. One can purchase one's daily grocery needs or relax and enjoy a delicious, substantial, and freshly cooked meal. Service is both efficient and attentive. This is a 'must see' at the heart of Adirondack.”
“Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Great deli. Also do catering. We enjoyed our brunch on the deck and bought local honey and cutting boards to bring home as gifts.”
